Project 3: Surface Design

In this project, we needed to decide one emotional word and created our own letterform and pattern. We also required to create a short animation in Adobe Photoshop and apply our final design to several items, to see how the design looks like, through a website, Society 6.

Letterform and Pattern
This is my final design of letterform and pattern. I believed that the handwritten script typeface and the flowers express the emotion of the word well.
Combined letterform & pattern
This is my final combined letterform and pattern design. I reduced the number of the flowers and created a white outline around the letterform to make more readable.
Society6 Items (the mockups)
This is my society6 items: Bag, cushion, pencil case, phone case, clock and tumbler.
Animated Google Doodle
This is my animation of the final design. I tried to create the movement of the animation smoothly and slowly to express the emotion of the word.
